Deep in a Daydream with REVERIE
A rêverie is a daydream, a state of being carried away by your thoughts. REVERIE was founded in 2023 by two young women who were drawn to the darker, more mysterious side of femininity. The brand grew from their interest in expressing that enigmatic side of women through clothing.
For REVERIE, femininity can take many different forms. The brand explores its more complex and less predictable sides, creating clothing for women who are comfortable with individuality and self-expression. There is confidence in the way the pieces are approached, but also a sense of mystery that runs through the collections.
The future provides much of the visual direction. REVERIE takes its cues from the future, bringing that into the collection through hardware, structure, and current fashion influences. The collection moves between stronger silhouettes, like moto jackets and corsetry, and simpler pieces that can be worn every day. The mix of tough and soft materials gives variety.
Every garment is made by hand, keeping the making process closely tied to the design. Working by hand also gives greater attention to the construction and finer details of each piece, while ensuring that individuality remains central to the brand.
REVERIE's collections move between statement pieces and more understated options, but the same atmosphere runs through both. How they're worn is left open to the individual, whether paired with simpler pieces or given a more prominent role.
